5-year-old girl gets to dance in VR at Disney park

By Emily Browning, Entertainment Weekly • June 22, 2018 02:01:29 Disney has officially unveiled its new VR app, called “Disney VR” for iOS and Android, but the company has yet to release a desktop version of the app.

“Disney has been a pioneer in virtual reality, and we’re proud to partner with a leading developer to bring Disney VR to life,” the company said in a statement to the Wall Street Journal.

The app will allow users to see “immersive content from across Disney Parks and resorts.”

It’ll be available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

In the app, users can “walk into a park to explore the resort’s immersive experience,” the release said.

“In addition to the park-based experience, the app will let you explore a variety of immersive experiences at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.”
